This is a small collection of my old cello performances as well as some more recent audio recordings made as I begin learning guitar. Try not to laugh too hard at them 
Guitar
I began learning guitar (both electric and acoustic) in August of 2006 motivated (sadly enough) by my renewed interest in Rock and Blues music from playing the excellent Guitar Hero videogame series. This is hopefully going to be a chronicle of my progress. I have found the following software/equipment to be very helpful in my initial learning process:
- Fretlight guitar system from Optek Systems
- Line6 PodXT amp/effects modeling hardware. [PodXT tone library]
- Guitar Pro sheet music and tablature editor. [collection of 23,000 songs for Guitar Pro]
- Alesis MultiMix 8 Firewire mixer
- Transcribe! software for slowing down mp3 tracks to practice along with
- Garageband recording software (part of Apple’s iLife suite)
- Audix OM-2 microphone
